в этой части мы узнаем, почему выживут только чувствующие. мы посмотрим на краткую историю изучения эмоций — как сначала исследователи были уверены, что все люди на земле чувствуют одинаково, а затем эта уверенность растворилась. мы обсудим социальность эмоций, её нейробиологическое подтверждение, и почему эмоции находятся не внутри нас, а между нами. мы выясним роль эмоций в принятии решений и вообще — в ориентировании человека в жизни

здесь мы посмотрим на современность на макроуровне: как исследователи определяют мир, который мы делим сейчас, и почему вопрос эмоций в нём стоит особенно остро

тут мы обсудим, как структуры власти, институты, общества и другие люди пытаются управлять эмоциями: провоцировать их по одним поводам и формировать бесчувственность к другим; чьи эмоции считаются допустимыми, а кому запрещается проявлять чувства; что такое аффективные аппараты и среды, и через какие механизмы можно заставить целую нацию чувствовать то, что выгодно государству; как алгоритмы модулируют наши переживания; что такое эмоциональный труд и как управление своими эмоциями в пользу других ложится на плечи самих граждан; как власть управляет чувствами для деполитизации общественной сферы; как формируются эмоциональные нормы и как они зависят от цвета кожи и гендера; кто и как использует стыд для подавления воли или приближения изменений

в этой части мы обратимся к вещам слабоуловимым, но вездесущим: что такое аффект и «настроение мира»; как память и травма реактуализуются в настоящем и определяют наши эмоции; что такое призрачные материи и как работает агентность объектов и их способность вызывать чувства; о чём свидетельствует «атмосферный поворот» в социальных науках, как архитектура влияет на эмоции и каково это — «чувствовать кожей»

здесь разговор пойдёт об «уродливых чувствах»: как ощущают себя люди, когда понимают, что живут в поломанных мире/стране, но не могут ничего сделать; можно ли радоваться во время геноцидов и войн; чем характеризуется современный эмоциональный режим в России и что роднит его с афазией; как справляться с политической депрессией и цинизмом; что такое жестокий оптимизм и чувство stuplimity; в чём неудобство других людей и почему мы готовы сливать ярость на ближайших, не имея возможности дотянуться до настоящих источников вреда

в последней части курса мы ищем выход из ландшафта уродливых чувств; как через микрополитику менять или перенаправлять свои эмоции, и как изменение модусов чувственности меняет наши стратегии жизни; действительно ли сострадание приближает лучший мир, или только успокаивает белых пользователей интернета; практиковать ли радикальную надежду или действовать незамедлительно; почему важно и необходимо жаловаться и быть кайфоломщиками, чем полезна меланхолия; как горе и горевание объединяют людей, почему важно содрогаться, чтобы думать и действительно ли всегда необходимо действовать/чувствовать политически
